Buy when

- You need it working in weeks, not months.
- The tool covers at least 80% of what you need.
Build when
- The process is what makes your business different.
- Off-the-shelf tools force costly workarounds.
- You need full control of the data and integrations.
The best answer is often a mix: proven tools for standard work, and focused custom software only where it creates real advantage.
